Hi! I'm Sacha, a freelance cartographer. Here is my story.

I was born in Aigle, a small village in Switzerland.
I did a B.Sc. in Geosciences and Environment at the University of Lausanne, from 2018 to 2021.
I did a B.Sc. in Geosciences and Environment at the University of Lausanne, from 2018 to 2021.
In 2021, I started the International Cartography M.Sc. programme. Each semester a new city: the lectures were given at the Technical Universities of Munich, Vienna, and Dresden.
During the summer 2022, I did an internship at Esri Switzerland, in Zurich, Esri being the leader company in GIS.
In March 2023, I spent one month in Glasgow, working at HarperCollins Publishers to make thematic maps for the next edition of the Comprehensive Times Atlas of the World.
Currently, I am writing my thesis in Vienna, in collaboration with HarperCollins Publishers. I will have finished my M.Sc. in September.
But above all: I'm passionate about maps and design. I'm having fun in the whole process of creating a map!
